Common OOC Terms
RP - Roleplay.
IC - In-character.
OOC - Out-of-character. Accessed by typing //.
LOOC - Local OOC, a chat command displaying an out-of-character message to people nearby you. Accessed by typing (.//) or ([[)
/ me - A chat command that demonstrates your character doing an action. Typed from the third person.
FailRP - A term used to describe RP of a lower quality, or RP that makes no sense. For example, "/me punches the droids till they die" is not proper RP.
Metagaming - Using OOC information in-character. For example, Player A says on OOC chat that he did something. Player B uses that information to punish Player A in-character. Player B has metagamed.
Powergaming - Forcing your actions onto other players, or RPing a situation and giving other players no chance to respond. For example, "/me punches the man, instantly knocking him out."
RDM - Random death-matching. A term used to describe a person randomly killing other people with no valid RP reasoning.
PK - Permanent Kill. A term used if a charcter is killed with valid RP, thus making them unplayable again.(If you are PK'd make a new character!!!!)
Asspull - Equipping items with no valid RP, or using items that you don't actually have/could not reasonably have in an RP situation.
