Because I believe that not only being a badass super soldier is cool, but it also encourages a better sense of role play.

What is this character's backstory?:
Vincent was born on a bright sunny day in New Mombassa. His parents, Luis and Christine Rivera always spoke about the way he looked at the world with open eyes. His father, having to travel a lot due to his career, did not see him as much as his mother did, and when he did see him, he focused on how to turn Vincent into a man. Unlike his father, his mother was more about book smarts. Through the time his father was not home his mother would have him study for hours in all types of subjects. By the age of eight he excelled to the top of his class and soon, his grade. After graduating from high school he chose to enlist into the USNCMC.
He was shipped of to basic training. There he met Alex Ramirez. The two bonded and worked extremely well, and to their surprise they were bunks mates. Sadly, due to an accident at the firing range one dreadful day, Alex was killed. His MA5C malfunctioned and completely exploded after pulling the trigger, killing him instantly. This loss, of someone he cared about devastated Vincent.
After the ten weeks of basic training, Vincent became a marine. He sent off to the UNSC Inquisitor on October 18th,2551. There, he served to the 25th MEU. After serving with the 25th MEU for about a year, the worst thing that Vincent could have ever imagined happened. On October 20th, 2552, he was deployed to New Mombassa. There, he saw his childhood home destroyed, along with his dead parents. From that day on, he was no longer known as Vincent or Rivera, he was now known as Xerxes for his ruthlessness against the covenant after discovering what they had done.
After two more years of being with the 25th MEU, Vincent, or Xerxes reached the rank of Corporal. At the time it didn't mean much for him, but for the Spartan IV Commander Musa, it showed a lot. Throughout Vincent's time in the Marines, he had been excelling above the others in his company. His combat records were amazing and so was his leadership. This is was made Musa visit the legendary marine, Xerxes, in person. Once given the live changing opportunity, Vincent accepted.
Shortly after being accepted, Vincent was giving his extremely painful augmentations and was now a Spartan IV and put under the command of Spartan 970 Field Marshal Miles

Describe a scenario in which you assault an entrenched position:
Marine: *Radio* Spartan, we're ready when you are. Xerxes: *Radio* Copy. *Action* Xerxes runs a thermal scan of the location and sees multiple enemies within the entrenched position. *Action* Xerxes then tosses in a flash grenade through the doorway, bouncing it off the wall inside and near a group of enemies. Xerxes: *Radio* Go go go! *Action* Xerxes rushes in, firing three shots at one enemy, taking him down in seconds, another shot at another enemy, and finally rushing up to the last one and bashing his skull in with one hit with the butt of his rifle. Xerxes: *Radio* Position clear.
Describe a situation where you combat a Brute in hand to hand combat:
Brute: *Grunting noises* Xerxes: Bring it, fucker. *The brute charges Xerxes, aiming for a whack to his right.* *Xerxes dodges to his right, causing the brute's arm to go to his left, giving him the right chance to strike.* *Xerxes runs up the brute and begins pounding away at his right side before jumping back.* *The brute is now enraged at this point and charge Xerxes again.* *Xerxes gets down on the ground and leg sweep the brute, causing the large and heavy beast to fall to the ground, giving Xerxes a chance to get him from behind(no homo)* *Xerxes rushes to the brute's head and begins pounding away until he hears the sound of the brute's skull being bashed in, killing it.*
